About Dianna

I’ve been proud to call Pleasant Grove home since 1991. My husband and I chose this community to raise our family, and it has been one of the best decisions of our lives. We raised our seven children here, and now our 17 grandchildren love coming “home” to enjoy the same parks, neighborhoods, and traditions we’ve cherished for decades. Pleasant Grove is more than where I live, it’s part of who I am.

Family and Community Roots

Family has always been at the center of my life. From school events to ball games, church activities, and community celebrations, Pleasant Grove has been the backdrop to so many of our family memories. That connection drives my desire to ensure Pleasant Grove remains a welcoming, safe, and thriving city for generations to come.

Public Service

For the past 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving Pleasant Grove in public office. I spent 4 years on the Planning Commission and the last 12 years on the City Council. During that time, I’ve seen our city experience tremendous growth, and I’ve worked to make sure that growth is managed in a way that benefits residents, strengthens our economy, and maintains our small-town feel.

As a council member, I’ve supported millions of dollars in road and infrastructure improvements, helped champion upgrades to parks and recreation, and prioritized investments in police and fire services. My philosophy has always been to listen carefully, research thoroughly, and make decisions with a long-term view that balances today’s needs with tomorrow’s opportunities.

Business and Professional Experience

In addition to public service, I am an entrepreneur and business owner. I founded Design Spectrum, Reunion, Pando Club, and MoreEnergy Health. These ventures have taught me the importance of fiscal responsibility, smart planning, and innovation. They’ve also given me valuable experience in job creation, economic development, and how to keep a business running effectively, lessons that translate directly into serving on the City Council.

Community Leadership

I believe strong cities are built through partnerships. Beyond my roles in city government, I’ve had the honor of serving as a board member with the Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce, the UVU Wolverine Athletic Board for more than 20 years, and the UVU Health Sciences Board. These opportunities have allowed me to support local businesses, advocate for education, and help strengthen the bridge between our city and important regional institutions.

Leadership Approach

When it comes to leadership, I value listening and learning as much as acting. I make it a point to visit sites when an issue is on the agenda so I can better understand resident concerns. I actively seek input from neighbors, staff, and other elected officials. My decision-making is rooted in transparency, accountability, and respect for the residents I serve. I believe every tax dollar should be honored and used wisely, not wasted.

Commitment to Pleasant Grove

Pleasant Grove is at an exciting point in its history. Growth is bringing new opportunities, but it also requires thoughtful planning and steady leadership. I am committed to protecting our community values, ensuring excellent city services, and preparing for a future where our children and grandchildren can thrive. Serving this city is a privilege, and I would be honored to continue that service for another term.

I believe in balancing progress with preservation. I want to make sure Pleasant Grove remains a place where families feel safe, where businesses can succeed, and where the traditions that make our city unique are honored. With your support, I will continue to work every day to ensure Pleasant Grove is a community we are all proud to call home.
